So you've found the perfect frame for that beautiful image, but many people are surprised that when they receive their print, part of the image has been cropped out. Why does this happen? Well it has to do with the aspect ratio of the image (or the frame). Most modern cameras have an aspect ratio of 2:3 meaning the image will fit in a standard frame size of 4x6, 8x12, 12x18.
