Cherishing the Miracle of Motherhood

My maternity photography style is simple, soft, and feminine—designed to celebrate this unique and fleeting moment. Many of my newborn clients tell me they wish they had captured their pregnancy properly, as their only photos were taken on their phones. Imagine the joy of sharing these beautiful memories with your children when they are older.

My professional maternity photography is crafted to preserve this exciting and emotional time, capturing the love and connection you and your partner share with your unborn baby.

Professional Maternity Photography

Congratulations on your journey toward motherhood! If you value timeless portrait art and high-resolution images, so do I. I’ll work with you to create a personalized and memorable maternity shoot that reflects your unique story. The ideal time for your session is between 32–36 weeks of pregnancy, when your beautiful bump is perfectly showcased.

Your maternity session takes place in my city centre studio, where I create a mixture of natural and studio-lit portraits. You’ll enjoy a variety of looks, with plenty of time for outfit changes. Partners, children, and even pets are more than welcome to join the session, making it a true family celebration. During the warmer months, I also offer beautiful outdoor maternity photoshoots, capturing you in stunning natural settings.

When to book Maternity Photography

I offer a Bump to Baby package, which includes both your maternity session and a newborn photoshoot at a special rate. For maternity-only sessions, it’s best to book at least 6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. If you’ve only just found me, feel free to get in touch—I occasionally have last-minute availability. For Bump to Baby packages, I recommend booking just after your 20-week scan to ensure you reserve both sessions in my schedule.

FAQs

When should I book my Pregnancy photography session?

For maternity photography sessions you should book at least 6 weeks in advance. If you have only just found me and would like to book then please get in touch as I occasionally have last minute availability. For bump to baby sessions (maternity & newborn) I recommend booking just after your 20 week scan.

When is the best time for a Maternity Photoshoot?

The best time to do your pregnancy photoshoot is between 32-36 weeks of your pregnancy. If you are expecting twins it is best to schedule your maternity shoot for around 29-30 weeks.

Do you provide outfits to wear for the session?

I have a small selection of dresses and materials which can be used during a pregnancy photoshoot and you are welcome to bring any clothing or props with you. Floaty dresses and pastel, white or neutral shades are recommended when choosing outfits to bring with you. If you have a particular image in mind I will work with you to get the best out of your photoshoot.

Do you retouch the images?

Yes, after your maternity photography shoot I will professionally retouch your images so that they look their best. As maternity photographer, my style is more natural. I will not airbrush your skin or make you look plastic - we want you to look like yourself. Both Maternity packages include digital files that can be turned into prints.

Do you provide hair and make up for Maternity Photography?

The cost of hair and make up is not currently included in pregnancy photography. The studio is large enough to have a stylist so if you would like to arrange a hair and make up artist to come along then by all means do so.

I don’t feel comfortable being nude. Do I have to take my clothes off?

Not at all this is a personal choice. I want you to have the best experience at your pregnancy photography photoshoot and this includes being comfortable. We can use fabrics to drape over you to give the impression of being semi nude look. If you prefer to be fully covered this can also look amazing.
