Family photography takes place at my amazing loft style studio in Glasgow. These sessions are all about having fun and my aim is to create beautiful photographs that you will love and treasure for years to come. And I do everything possible to make the whole experience enjoyable for you from start to finish. Included in the session are portraits of the children on their own as well as the family photo together. I can also do location shoots around Glasgow for a small additional fee if you would rather book this type of session please just get in touch.

Children grow us so fast it's no wonder that parents are taking photos of them all the time. Playing at home or running around outdoors in a park, you probably have hundreds of snaps of them. Now ask yourself how many photographs do you have of you all together as a family? It's probably very few because you are always the one behind the camera. This is why hiring a professional portrait photographer is so important for your family photoshoot.

When you come to me for a family photoshoot the emphasis is on having fun! In my experience as a family photographer customer don't want stuffy portraits with you all gazing off into the distance, I try to capture photos of just you and your family sharing a great moments together that you get to keep ,love and cherish forever.

What types of payment do you accept?

When booking or paying for products online this can be done by Paypal or credit/debit card. At the studio I will accept cash and credit cards (except Amex).

When should I book?

I don't require much notice for a family portrait. As with all my other sessions it is please get in touch as far in advance as possible. This will give me time to provide advice on clothing and capture some details for your photography session.

How many people can be in the photograph?

I can photograph families of up to 5 people. If there are more than 5 please get in touch and we can discuss how best to accommodate these images.

What should we wear?

In my experience as a family photographer, it's best not to all wear the same clothes by to coordinate them. Having similar tones works best and when you book your session I will send you some helpful advice on what to wear.

Can we do an outfit change?

Yes. I please feel free to bring along a second outfit with you. I recommend only one outfit change, especially with younger children.

We are not sure how to pose, will you help us?

Don't worry about that, I will guide you through the whole thing so you can relax and just have fun. If you have any suggestions of your own then let me know.

Do you do outdoor family portraits?

I do outdoor portraits for families larger than groups of 5. I can do an outdoor session if you would prefer that to the studio (Summer-Autumn only) An additional travel fee will apply.

Do you sell framed prints?

Yes, I believe photographs should be printed and proudly displayed in your home. Please see my products page for details. I can discuss sizes and styles with you at your session or you are welcome to come back for an ordering session at no extra charge.
