Pet Photography

Are you looking for a passionate pet photographer to capture Pet Photography that you will treasure for every?

For me, dogs and cats are soulful, complex creatures each with their own distinctive personality. I am fascinated with the way our pets move, their ability to learn and their utter devotion to their humans. When something becomes commonplace we often overlook the beauty in it. I want to capture images that are respectful and capture the unique beauty of your pets and create a piece of art that you will treasure forever.

Family Pet Photography

Dogs and cats are more than just pets, they are members of our family. Louise Mallan Photography captures timeless, unique fine art pet portraits unlike any other photographers. Most noteworthy is that many client after their photography session have describe her dog portraits as a work of art.

The ever more popular Pet photography takes place at my studio in Glasgow at the Crownpoint Studio building. These pet photo shoots are all about having fun and my aim is to create beautiful portraits that you will love and treasure for years to come. And I do everything possible to make the whole experience enjoyable for you from start to finish. Included in the photography shoot are portraits of the children on their own as well as the family together. I can also do location shoot around Glasgow for a small additional fee if you would rather.

A Pet Photographer FAQs

How much does pet photography cost

I have two packages available so you can choose the one that suits your needs.  Both packages come with digital images as well as prints.  You can see details of what is included in each package on this page of my website pet photography prices

Can our family be involved in the dogs photography shoot?

Absolutely, with the Gold package you can all be photographed together.  I understand that dogs are as much a part of the family as children so I am happy to include you as part of the session.

What should I bring to the pet photography shoot?

I always ask you to bring your dogs favourite treats and a favourite toy.  I will have treats with me but if your dog has any special dietary requirements then its best to bring your own.  I also ask that you bring your dogs harness/collar and lead..

What happens if my dog does not co-operate?

It helps if your dog has good sit/stay training but I understand that being in a new environment is exciting for your dog.  I never rush the session so I will spend some time playing with your dog and allowing them to explore before taking the photos.  It helps if your dog has had a good long walk before arriving at the studio so that they are more focused.  If it is not possible for me to get at least 5 individual shots of your dog then I will reschedule your session.

When do you do dog photo sessions?

Dog photo shoots will take place on Saturdays at my city centre studio.  If you would like to book please get in touch to check what availability I have.

Can I buy gift vouchers for dog photography?

I do offer gift vouchers if you would like to buy one.  You can purchase any amount on your voucher (£50 minimum)
